mark & michelle

Mark and Michelle Tiderman are an awesome couple with a HUGE heart for God and His Kingdom. It has been a joy to get to know them both as a couple. This past weekend Mark led worship for our first Prayer Gathering at our new location - The Underground. Mark did an incredible job leading our Core Team through worship, prayer, and reading Scripture. It was a joy to serve alongside of him and I am looking forward to more days ahead working with Mark both as a leader and a friend. This week I wanted to take a little bit of time and introduce everyone to this amazing couple…

Move-in Day (part 1)

After living with our amazing friends, Zach and Kim Martin, for nearly 6 months we finally moved into our own place today. Well at least partially. We still have some more stuff to go and get from Pittsburgh. But wow! It has been awhile since Tiffany and I had a place all to ourselves. Lets see… we hosted Domi, our exchange student, for 6 months (he was pretty awesome btw)… then we moved to Pittsburgh and stayed with parents for 12 months… and finally these past 6 months with the Martins… that = 2 years of living with someone else.

To our friends and family.

Thank you so much for all of your support, your prayers, and your encouragement. Many of you recently received letters in the mail explaining the direction of Red Door and how you can partner with us as we move into the future. Your involvement will be a huge part of the success of Red Door as we make our way through these early days. Below are a few key notes explaining some of the stuff you will find here on the site…

A New Friend… An Old Friend.

The new friend is Brooke Carter. I met Brooke while in Mexico this past week for the first time. She is serving as a missionary with MITC sharing the love of Jesus however she can. The old friend is Kelsey Skaggs. Kelsey led worship for our team in Mexico. I have to admit I didn’t truly understood “God of this City” until I heard Kelsey sing it in Spanish this week. Wow. You’ll have to try it sometime to understand. Anyways, Brooke posted a blog about how God just collided with her while Kelsey was leading worship in Vega Del Sol. Definitely worth a read.
