meet the interns: Sarah
We asked each of our interns to send us a brief bio so you can read their story and get to know them a little bit. Here is Sarah, our missions intern…

I am Sarah Bevard, I turned 23 on May 8th. Coincidently, that is my husband’s birthday and the day we got married. My Husband’s name is Chris Cronin he is also 23 and is a student at the University of Cincinnati and serves in the Air National Guard. I went to Cincinnati Christian University where I majored in Urban/Intercultural Ministries. (A fancy way of saying missions.) This spring I finished with up my courses at CCU and am now embarking on a new journey of my life…the internship.
I am from Laurelville, Ohio my home is about five miles away from Old Man’s Cave. My parents are divorced and I am very blessed to have two great sets of parents and am very thankful for the families God has given me. I have two brothers and two sisters. We are a very tight knit family, we love being together and having a good time.
Currently, I live in Clifton and I love the area it is very much so different from my last neighborhood. Before Clifton, I lived in Price Hill in a Ministry home above the community center. I loved living in staff housing and built a lot of incredible relationships with inner city people. I learned that if you are looking for a meaningful lifetime hobby, you should probably get into inner city missions. It is incredible, entertaining, heart wrenching and so much more. That sounded like a commercial but we the people who live in Cincinnati live in an incredible place for missions. My husband and I love hiking and camping. We both hope to one day do overseas missions or join the peace corps. We also love ice cream-unfortunately we both love it to much.

I like ice cream too. Josh is a good guy but he works too hard. Make sure he takes his wife out to dinner and has quiet time.
