i am an actor. i am a liar. i am lazy. i am a fool. i am a hypocrite. i am a searcher. i am a replacer. i am a taker. i am a receiver. i am a doubter. i worry. i cheat. i speed. i don’t care. i am unsubmissive. i think i know better. i argue. i hate. i don’t learn from my mistakes. i am unwilling to give you certain parts of me. i am a thief. i’m jealous. i’m selfish and crude. i’m rude and unkind to the ones that i love. i am full of myself and i think i’m always right. and i do not know my need for grace.
and i don’t even believe the things i just said!

i also am a sinner…leaning forward, and sometimes falling, into the right making of all things. Praise be to God for His infinite mercy and abundant grace.

I know exactly how you feel, because I am the same. Thank you Jesus for shedding your blood to make me clean! Thank you for saving me. I know as long as I’m in this mortal body I will never be sin free. I just pray everyday for your forgiveness.

That is depressing, but TRUE, It makes me feel even more GRATEFUL for the finished work of the cross. Our only escape into life. Thank you Jesus.
