what a november!

November brought a lot of craziness… from a computer crash to getting sick to The Feast to Thanksgiving. Life has been crazy for everyone, including you I am sure with all the Thanksgiving food and fun. But I wanted to share some of our stories from The Feast last week.

Move-in Day (part 2)

west hills baptist

We are at West Hills Baptist Church in Pittsburgh, PA today sharing the dream of Red Door. It is looking like it is going to be a great day. Please pray for us as we share our hopes and teach about what it means to be a people who spend our lives bringing heaven to earth. The pastor here, Larry Walker, is a great guy with a huge heart who has spent time with me over the past year. It is a privilege to be able to share here with them as our churches continue moving forward as partners in the Kingdom mission.

our first worship gathering

Last Sunday night was incredible! We met, we ate, we prayed, we talked, we worshiped, we dreamed, we had fun, we made new friends, and had a first worship gathering worth remembering. The place looked amazing from the moment you walked into the room (thanks Kim!) and the food was great; from the pulled pork bbq to the stellar guac dip (thanks Zach!) and chocolate cake (thanks Jess!). So many people pulled together to create a night where we could share the dreams, vision, and hope of red door church.
