Daily Bread
It’s funny how we can make things really “super-spiritual” and in the process strip it of any spiritual substance at all. For years I have prayed, “and give us this day our daily bread”, as though all I needed to pray for was the “spiritual” kind of bread. GoPlan (free for non-profits!)

Soundtrack.
Jeremy Riddle’s album, The Now and Not Yet, has been playing constantly as I work. In many ways this album has become the soundtrack of the church plant. His lyrics are filled with a beautiful mixture of truth and grace, and his voice carries a deep passion for the church - to see her become who she is called to be. The album is a reminder for all of us to get unstuck from the routine of going to church and begin being the church to our neighbors and our world. Check out these lyrics from “Among the Poor”
