Transition.
For the last 6 months this 610 site has been a tool for shared conversation about the Kingdom of God amongst a core group of people from the Cincinnati-Dayton area. Many of the posts have been teaching oriented and designed to increase our conversation as we met together once a month. Those conversations have now led to a church plant in the area fueled by these discussions and a passion to live out the Kingdom of God here together.
So I am now transitioning the 610 site to better reflect this ongoing mission. I will be posting more personal stories and thoughts as Tiffany and I (along with an awesome team) plant Red Door church. We have friends and family around the United States (and the world) we want to share our story with as it develops. We are hoping you find this is a good way to keep up with us, laugh with us, cry with us, and pray with us.
We view ourselves as missionaries returning to Cincinnati to plant a fresh expression of the Kingdom amongst our people group. We are excited about how God has been forming us for the last five years and believe He has been preparing us for “such a time as this” to rip a line from Esther. You will be able to use this site to find out more information about Red Door church (like what’s up with the name?), join a prayer team, sign up for our email list, help us raise support, and find ways to get involved if you live in the area.
Stay connected here at 610 and enjoy the ride… it’s going to get bumpy!!!
Peace and Love,
Joshua
